Dear Summer,

You have been a great first summer! We've been to the lake, to Branson, and even built a nice new house (pics to follow soon). We've celebrated some great family members birthdays with you and even a 1/2 birthday for Wesley Kay. We've been swimming and strolling and can't wait for our teeth to show themselves. They're tough little things on us! We've had many good times playing with family and friends! We look forward to a future summer where we can see the beach for the first time and maybe a trip to the happiest place on Earth...Disney world! For now, we can't wait to call the Hogs at our first Razorback football game, spend the night in our brand new house and show off some really cute fall outfits! The holidays are going to be extra special for us this year too! We have so much to be thankful for! So see ya next year Summer!

Wesley Kay is 7 months old!

Wesley Kay, you are 7 months old now and full of smiles and laughs! You love to play "crawly bug" (don't quote me on that spelling), peek-a-boo, and you look just like a big girl sitting and playing with your toys. Where has our newborn gone?? You have had all of the stage 1 fruits and vegetables and on the menu this weekend...wait for it....ham and gravy, chicken and rice and other meat combinations! If you're anything like your Momma, you will love your meat and potatoes! We're going to Branson with Papa Wayne, Uncle Bryan, Aunt Kelly, Riley and Harper this weekend for Papa Wayne's birthday. So I'm sure we will have great pictures to share. You started staying with a new babysitter this week too. Her name is Mrs. Shirley Deerman. I can tell she already loves you and you really seem to enjoy her company too but, who do you not like? She compliments you every afternoon! Your Daddy said "she should pay us to keep you!" We will miss Mrs. Justi but know you are in such loving hands with Mrs. Shirley. You still wear a size 3 diaper and continue to take 5 bottles/day with about 30 oz of formula. Most of your clothes are 6-9 months but you are still comfortable in most 6 months. Speaking of clothes, I can't wait for all of the sweet fall outfits and oh my!...the holiday outfits are the best! We really need to start brainstorming for a cute Halloween costume! The carnival will be here before we know it! Enjoy your 7 month pictures. They are becoming more eventful with the passing months:)
