Wesley's first sleepover

On Sunday night Wesley Kay hosted her very first sleepover. Her guest list included her cousins Riley and Harper. And of course little sister.



Activities included the movie Zootopia, swimming, finger painting, science experiments, puzzles, books, a trip for snow cones (opted for ice cream when no snow cone stands were open😢) and dominoes. There was even time for a nap!





We love these kiddos and glad they are able to spend some time together! They are so busy with extra curricular activities but we are glad to have them when we can! Wesley would love to host them again tomorrow night😉

No place like home

But a couple of nights away at the lake are pretty high on our list too!


Wanna know why we're happy? Because we are at dinner and have a couple of nights away from naps, snacks and bathtimes! We enjoyed dinner at Central Park Fusion in downtown Hot Springs last Thursday night. It was delicious! The company was fantastic too! I see us going back!
We spent a very HOT day on lake Ouachita Friday. Insert flames here...it was almost too hot for the lake!



Or maybe the weather was just right at Turtle Cove spa where I spent my morning using a gift certificate for my birthday. It was pretty dreamy! So while we were away, our babies were missing us terribly...






See that face right there?? Ok. Maybe not terribly! They had a big time with Nana and Papaw! Thank you again Nana and Papaw!

Taylor Months 1-4

Here I am again! I have a lot of catching up to do! Here is our sweet baby celebrating her first year birthdays (months 1-4) by month. I love to see how much she's changing month to month! It's even fun to see the difference between she and her big sis. I have so many people tell me she looks like Wesley Kay. I'll have to do a comparison of the two soon. They sure do have similar baby dispositions. Easy, peasy babies! We can't get enough of them!












For some reason big sister thinks she needs her picture taken too. Umm. Ok. It is a pretty cute idea. So here you go! Pictures of the two of them together.






Both of their faces are priceless! Wesley very rarely wants her picture made...

Playing Catch Up..sort of

Well friends and family, it has been 1 year and a couple of months since my last post 😳 and our world has changed too much to even try and fill you in. BUT most importantly our greatest change and latest blessing starts here...



Would you look again at those feet??



Taylor Scott Hines came into our world at 7:39 AM on March 1, 2016 at St. Vincent hospital in Little Rock. She weighed 8lbs 5oz and was 21 1/2 inches long.
Isn't she (one of the two) cutest?!?!



And what about this??? Is this not the sweetest thing??? Sisterly love💕






Taylor had lots of love poured over her from her very first day of life. Look who came to meet her! There were even more family members who came later that don't have pictures.





















And this is one of my most favorite pictures of all time! I took this from my hospital bed right after family was allowed to meet her. All is right in the world in this moment...
