Wesley got to experience her first of many Race for the Cure events! She had a good time despite the cold temperatures! She is so observant and loves to people watch so this was just what she wanted this weekend. Of course to us, it means so much more. And guess what?!?! Wesley made her first tv appearance! We were waiting to watch Nana in the survivor parade and a reporter noticed the cute flags and adorable baby and proceeded to get our story. Remember, we have a great history of Race for the Cure races. We were married on that day three years ago! Let me take you back to that day in history….
Here was my first race day interview! As if my wedding day in general wasn’t nerve racking enough! It was fun though! Look at my cute pink veil! Compliments of Mandy H.
Here’s a good pic of Wesley’s Papaw Gary, Nana and Daddy that year!
And the coolest shirts ever! Compliments of the super creative BFF Kelly!
Look how many fans I had that day! And they all turned around and came to the wedding and reception that night. Blessed!
Ok…back to present day (or a few weeks ago, not years anyway).
The group picture in front of the big pink ribbon is always good. Our group is expanding;)
And look! Awesome shirts again! Compliments of Kelly of course! She is so creative!
And last…our brunch trip to Applebees. I think this picture with Nana and Wesley with her cute shirt made by my friend Sarah is the best! Looking forward to many more Race for the Cure days. It will always be one of my best race running times!
